The exhibition tells the story of Lithuanian national currency from its beginning up to this day, when Lithuania prepares to bid farewell to its national currency. The first banknotes and coins of the First Republic of Lithuania, their sketches, projects, proof stamps, and occasional coins are exhibited together with press clichés, plaster models, proof samples, sketches and projects of the national currency after the restoration of independence in 1990.
