The exhibition, which focuses on the families of intellectuals as forerunners in all spheres of Lithuania’s life in 1920s and 1930s, was opened on the eve of the State’s Day. This venturesome attempt to see beyond the official biographies, public faces and facades attracted many descendants of prominent families from the period of the First Republic of Lithuania. The symbolic ribbon cutting ceremony was performed by MEP Radvilė Morkūnaitė-Mikulėnienė and Dalia Palukaitienė, a descendent of a famous Lithuanian painter and composer Konstantinas Mikalojus Čiurlionis.
